| Abstract: | Squamous cell carcinoma developed on the erythematous right cheek of a 79-year-old woman where she had used corticosteroid ointments for 20 years. This condition, also known as rubeosis steroidica, might have predisposed the patient to squamous cell carcinoma, although the possibility of its being a coincidental association cannot be excluded. |
