Abstract:	Spontaneous and isolated dissecting aneurysm ofthe superior mesenteric artery is a rare event that has beensuccessfully treated by surgery in several reported cases. To ourknowledge, we present the first case of a patient with spontaneous andisolated dissecting aneurysm of the superior mesenteric artery that wassuccessfully treated by endovascular stent-graft placement.
