论病机层次和要素

中医学是直接从临床中形成、发展的，所有理论没有经过任何中间环节，和临床具有极大的一致性，一切临床活动都以病机为中心。病机可分为四个层次：①病机理论基础；②基本病机；③病病机；④证候病机。病机的要素有病种、病因、病位、病性、病形、病势等六项。病机要素量和病机层次具有对应关系，病机层次越低要素量就越多，与临床关系就越直接；病机层次越高要素量就越小，与临床关系就越间接，但这并不反应临床意义的大小。

Levels and Elements of pathogenesis

Traditional Chinese Medicine is directly formed and developed from clinic, and all the theories, without any intermediate link, are in great harmony with the clinic. All the clinical activities are centered around the pathogenesis. The pathogenesis can be divided into four levels: (1) the theoretical basis of pathogenesis (2) the basic pathogenesis (3) the pathogenesis of disease (4) the pathogenesis of syndrome. There are 6 elements of pathogenesis: kind, cause, position, nature, form and degree. The element quantity of pathogenesis is correspondent with the levels of pathogenesis, that is, the lower the level of pathogenesis, the more the quantity of element and the more direct relationship with the clinic, the vice versa.
