Effects of Adjuvant Bronchoscopic Alveolar Lavage on Clinical Efficacy,Inflammatory Factors and Lung Function of Children with Severe Mycoplasma Pneumonia

Objective To explore effects of adjuvant bronchoscopic alveolar lavage on clinical efficacy,inflammatory factors and lung function of children with severe mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods A total of 117 children with severe mycoplasma pneumonia admitted between July 2018 and July 2020 were selected and divided into control group(n=58)and research group(n=59)according to different therapeutic schemes.Control group was given routine treatment,while research group was added with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage on the basis of routine treatment.Clinical efficacy,related clinical indicators,inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and C-reactive protein(CRP)],lung function[forced expiatory volume in 1 second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),maximal midexpiratory flow(MMEF)]and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results In research group,the total effective rate was significantly higher,while antipyretic time,cough remission time,disappearance time of pulmonary wet rales and length of stay were significantly shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment in two groups,and the decreased degrees were more significant in research group(P<0.05).After treatment,levels of FEV1,FVC and MMEF were significantly increased compared with those before treatment in two groups,and the increased degrees were more significant in research group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence rate of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Bronchoscopic alveolar lavage is effective in treatment of children with severe mycoplasma pneumonia.It may effectively improve clinical symptoms,inflammatory factors and lung function with good safety.
