Efficacy of Xiaoyong Rukang Decoction combined with external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine on plasma cell mastitis and its influence on the levels of peripheral blood PRL,IgG and IgA

Objective It is to observe the curative effect of Xiaoyong Rukang Decoction combined with external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of plasma cell mastitis and its effect on the levels of peripheral blood prolactin(PRL),IgG and IgA.Methods A total of 101 patients with plasma cell mastitis treated in the Department of Breast,the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2017 to February 2019 were selected and divided into experimental group and control group according to the complete random principle.All the included patients underwent mammary duct resection,the patients in the control group received conventional western medicine treatment after the operation,and the patients in the experimental group received Xiaoyong Rukang Decoction and external Chinese medicine treatment on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The breast mass diameter,breast skin score,pain score,quality of life score(QLQ-C30),total effective rate of treatment,treatment safety,and levels of PRL,IgG,and IgA in peripheral blood were compared between the two groups.One-year follow-up was performed in the patients to count the recurrence rate.Results The breast mass diameter,breast skin score,pain score and the levels of PRL,IgG,IgA in peripheral blood after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment in the two groups(all P<0.05),and the above indicators in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of self-feeling,emotional domain,and social domain in QLQ-C30 in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment in the two groups(P<0.05),and the scores above in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P all<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 94.0%(47/50),which was significantly higher than 76.5%(39/51)in the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment safety was better while the follow-up recurrence rate was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Xiaoyong Rukang Decoction combined with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is safe and effective in the treatment of plasma cell mastitis.It can significantly relieve clinical symptoms,accelerate disease recovery,improve the quality of life of patients,inhibit PRL secretion,enhance immunity,and reduce the risk of disease recurrence.
