EffectTreatment of Supracondylar Fracture of Humerus in Children with Closed Reduction and Percutaneous Pin Fixation:A Report of 83 Cases

Objective：To observe clinical effects of closed reduction and percutaneous pin fixation in treating supracondylar fracture of humerus in children.Method：Closed reduction and percutaneous pin fixation were adopted in treating 83 cases of children with supracondylar fracture of humerus.Result： the fracture healed in 83 patients without Volkmann contracture,ulnar nerve injury and fragment redisplacement after the operation.Cubitus varus occurred in 2 patients.No infection,X-ray films showed all the fracture healed after 3-6 weeks of the operation.Functional exercise begun after removal of Kirschner wires,64 cases showed excellent results（77.1%）,17 cases good results（20.5%）,2 cases fair results（2.4%）.Conclusion：Closed reduction and percutaneous pin fixation in treating supracondylar fracture of humerus in children can reach significant clinical effects.
