| Abstract: | Objective To observe the effects of Angelica naphtha on isolated thoracic aorta smooth muscle in rabbit,and discuss its mechanism of action.Methods The spiral strip of isolated thoracic aorta smooth muscle in rabbit was made.The effects of Angelica naphtha on normal thoracic aorta smooth muscle and the tension of thoracic aorta smooth muscle of pre contraction induced by norepinephrine(NE) and KCl were observed by BL-420F collection system of biological signal.Results Angelica naphtha had obvious diastolic effect on normal isolated thoracic aorta smooth muscle in rabbit,and had obvious antagonistic effect on thoracic aorta smooth muscle of contraction induced by NE(1 μmol/L) and KCl(60 mmol/L).Conclusion Angelica naphtha can inhibit the contraction of thoracic aorta smooth muscle.The mechanism may be associated with blockade of alpha receptors and inhibition of voltage-gated calcium channels. |
