Efficacy of GuCiXiao Cataplasm in Treating Soft Tissue Injury in Shoulder

Objective：To observe efficacy of GuCiXiao cataplasm in treating shoulder soft tissue injury.Method： 80 patients with all kinds of shoulder soft tissue injuries were divided into treatment group and control group.40 cases as treatment group were externally administered with GuCiXiao cataplasm for 7 days,once per day,12～24 h/time and 40 cases as control group externally applied with SheXiang ZhuangGuGao for 7 days,once per day,12～24 h/time.Result：Total effective rate of treatment group was 67.50% including 11 cases cured,16 cases markedly effective,10 cases effective,3 cases ineffective,higher than 45.00% of control group.Comparisons of efficacy and symptom scores between 2 groups showed significant differences.4～6 months follow up with no recurrence over.Conclusion：GuCiXiao cataplasm was surely effective in treating shoulder soft tissue injury and worth promoting.
