Observation on the Effect of Javanica Oil Injection Combined with Radiotherapy on Brain Metastases

Objective To observe the effect of javanica oil injection combined with radiotherapy on brain metastases.Methods 70 patients with brain metastases were randomly divided into radiotherapy group and group of javanica oil injection combined with radiotherapy.The efficacy and side effects were observed for one or three months.Results There was no significant difference（P0.05） in the two groups and no statistically significance.However,Brucea javanica oil injection combined with radiotherapy could improve the quality of patient＇s life significantly（P0.01）,weight increased significantly（P0.01）.Toxicity was significantly lower than that of in radiotherapy group（P0.05）.Compared with the control group the immune function increased in the treatment group after treatment.There was statistical significance（P0.05）.Conclusion Javanica oil injection combined with radiotherapy in patients with brain metastases can improve the quality of life,improve immune functions,reduce the side effects of radiotherapy.
