Effect of Huangqi Huaxian Decoction on Liver Function and Liver Fibrosis Index among Chronic Hepatitis B Patients

Objective:To explore the effect of huangqi huaxian decoction on on Liver Function and Liver Fibrosis index among Chronic Hepatitis B patients.Methods:A total of 73 patients with Huangqi Huaxian Decoction were included in the study,all of whom were admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to December 2021.They were divided into two groups by random number table method.Patients in the control group(37 cases)were treated with Entecavir Tablet for chronic hepatitis B,and patients in the observation group(36 cases)were treated with Entecavir Tablet combined with Huangqi Huaxian Decoction.Therapeutic effect,liver function and liver fibrosis index changes before and after treatment,TCM symptoms(dark complexion,tingling in the side and rib/ruffian in the side,fatigue,constipation/diarrhea,etc.)score changes,T cell subsets indexes(CD4⁺,CD8⁺,CD4⁺/CD8⁺)changes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:Compared with the control group(81.08%),the effective rate of observation group was higher(97.22%),P<0.05;Before the treatment,the difference of liver function and liver fibrosis index,dim complexion,a lump in the abdomen rib tingling/REINS of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),weakness of fatigue,constipation or diarrhea symptom integral,CD4⁺,CD8⁺,CD4⁺/CD8⁺index between the two groups were significant,P<0.05;After treatment,in both groups,liver function and liver fibrosis index,dim complexion,a lump in the abdomen side rib tingling/REINS of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),weakness of fatigue,constipation or diarrhea symptom integral,CD4⁺,CD8⁺,CD4⁺/CD8⁺indexes were improved,and the indexes of liver function and liver fibrosis,dark complexion,tingling in the side and rib/ruffian in the side,fatigue,constipation/diarrhea and other TCM symptom scores,CD4⁺,CD8⁺,CD4⁺/CD8⁺in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in both control group(5.41%)and observation group(2.78%)were lower,P<0.05.Conclusion:Huangqi Huaxian Decoction can improve the efficacy of patients with chronic hepatitis B,improve the liver function and liver fibrosis,alleviate symptoms,enhance immune function,with low adverse reaction rate,and high safety,thus,it is worthy of application.
