Abstract: | Four patients suffering from pigmented actinic lichen planus were studied. Clinically, the lesions are melasma-like, affecting mainly the face and exacerbating in summer and spring time. The histopathologic and immunofluorescence studies showed typical changes of actinic lichen planus. The possibility of pigmented actinic lichen planus should be considered in every patient with facial melanosis. |
