Pre-exponential factors of rate constants of chain propagation reactions in free radical polymerization

A method is described for calculating the pre-exponential factor of the chain propagation rate constants in free radical vinyl polymerizations taking place in the liquid phase. The pre-exponential factors calculated for some typical monomers are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental values.
