| Abstract: | We observed the changes of the retinal pigment epithelium on 25 traumatic eyes of sympathetic oph thalmia on light microscopy. The pathological responses of the human retinal pigment epithelium in these eyes were discussed. It was found that the retinal pigment epithelium participated in the forming of granulo matous uveitis, but might not be the exact cause of sympathetic uveitis. |
