HO-1抗氧化损伤的研究进展

摘    要:血红素氧合酶1(HO-1)催化血红素降解生成胆红素,一氧化碳和Fe2+,这个表面平淡无奇的催化反应却引起人们越来越多的注意。HO-1的活性直接影响到抗氧化损伤的能力的变化。现已证实HO-1具有抗炎、抗凋亡、抗增殖的作用。同时还发现,在许多疾病(如败血症和动脉粥样硬化)中起着保护作用。但是,HO-1产生保护作用的机制现在仍然没有完全明确,本综述重点介绍HO-1的功能。

Abstract:Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)functions to catabolize heme into bilirubin,carbon monoxide,and free iron.Remarkably,however,such common activity of this enzyme results in profound changes in cellular abilities to protect themselves against oxidative injuries.HO-1 has been shown to have anti-inflammatory,antiapoptotic,and antiproliferative effects,and it is now known to have beneficial effects in diseases such as atherosclerosis and sepsis.The mechanism through which HO-1 confers its protective effects is still poorly understood.This review highlights the current study on the function of HO-1.
