The reading promotion of red culture epitomizes the connotation and characteristics of public libraries, reflects the undertones of cultural confidence of public libraries, and is an important resource for promoting cultural education. Taking Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province as an example, the case analysis method was used to analyze the needs of readers, explore the personalized strategies of different groups of people to acquire knowledge, and summarize the practical rules of public libraries participating in the red culture reading promotion.
