摘    要:多年来,一氧化碳(carbon monoxide,CO)被认为是一种可以致命的毒性气体.1968年时,已认识到机体可以产生内源性的CO,血红素氧合酶是内源性CO产生的限速酶.上个世纪九十年代,随着一氧化氮(NO)作为一种气体信使分子的作用被逐渐了解,同为气体小分子的CO,在体内的生理作用也逐渐得到重视,CO成为第二种被发现有病理生理作用的气体信使分子.

Abstract:Carbon monoxide (CO) has been considered as a fatal gas. Recent researches show that tissues generate carbon monoxide, and carbon monoxide plays a key role in the tissue physiological and pathological processes. The endogenous CO is generated from the decomposition of heme which is catalyzed by heme oxygenase enzyme (HO). Studies show that CO involves in the process of anti-inflammation, anti-apoptosis, regulation of vascular tone, modulation of leukocyte adhesion and platelet aggregation. CO also functions as neurotransmitters.
