鼻腔血管球瘤临床病理观察

目的探讨鼻腔血管球瘤的临床病理学特征、诊断及鉴别诊断。方法对1例发生在鼻腔的血管球瘤进行HE和免疫组化染色,光镜观察。结果光镜下病变主要由片状、巢状排列的小圆细胞组成,核分裂罕见,血管比较丰富,部分区域呈乳头状;免疫组化结果提示瘤细胞表达vimentin、少数细胞表达SM-A。结论原发于鼻腔的血管球瘤很少见,发生于指末段时容易诊断,而发生于鼻腔时易误诊为其他肿瘤,如类癌、血管外皮细胞瘤及垂体腺瘤等,诊断时应综合分析,避免误诊。

Clinicopathological features of glomus tumor of nasal cavity

Objective To study the clinicopathological features and differential diagnosis of glomus tumor of nasal cavity. Methods One case of glomus tumor in nasal cavity was investigated by histopathological observation and immunohistochemistry finding. Results Histopathological examination of the specimen showed sheets and nests of small round cells associated with capillary-sized blood vessels.Immunohistochemically,the round cells were positive for vimentin and SM-actin. Conclusions Nasal primary glomus tumors are extremely rare and represent less than 0.5% of nasal nonepithelial tumors.It is easier to be diagnosed in the subungual region of the finger tip,but in the nasal cavity,it may be misdiagnosed as such as carcinoid,hemangiopericytoma and pituitary adenoma.
