Abstract: | Culture in Iceland is related to the natural environment, including weather, terrain, and size of population. Traditional celebrations related to this culture find their way into the kindergarten curriculum. The Islandic language and the literary heritage are also important elements of culture that have found their way into the kindergarten curriculum. While the focus is on its Islandic roots, the kindergarten has been influenced by ideas from abroad. |
