Establishment of Rat Diastolic Heart Failure Animal Model

Objective： To establish animal model of diastolic heart failure; Methods： DHF was produced in Wistar rats by abdominal aortic coaretation cardiac function was determined by catheter, left ventricular systolic pressure （LVSP）, left ven- trlcular end diastolic pressure（ LVEDP）, rate of ventricular pressure （ ＋ dp/dtmx ） ,left ventricu]ar end diastolic pressure（ LV- EDP） ,left ventricular relax time constant quantity（T） ;Results：The rats of operation group have no significant changes with these of the control on left ventrlcular systolic pressure（LVSP） and maximal rising rate of ventrieular pressure（ ＋ dp/dtmax ）, left ventricular end diastolic pressure （LVEDP）was much higher in operation group （P 〈 0. 01 ）, but maximal falling rate of ventricular pressure （ -dp/dtmax ）was not change more,left ventricular relax time constant quantity（T） was markedly extended （P 〈0. 01 ）, It is suggesting that rabbit model of DHF was established successfully.
