| Abstract: | Chronic dislocation of the temporomandibular jaw (TMJ) can result from lax joint ligaments and parafunctioning joints; it can also be a consequence of a systemic connective tissue disorder. The authors report a case of hypermobile joint syndrome in combination with mitral valve prolapse. The case was managed by osteosynthesis using modified titanium plate. |
