| Abstract: | There is compelling evidence that depression is an independent risk factor for both the development of coronary heart disease（CHD） and the worsening prognosis. This paper raviewed the mechanisms of impact of depression on CHD including biological mechanisms, behavioral mechanisms, adherence to treatment and social sup- port, and the treatment measures including antidepressant drugs, cognitive behavioral therapy, and physical activity and so on in the management of patients with co-morbld depression. |
