Pu Fu-zhou had an unique understanding on the treatment and syndrome differentiation of adenovirus pneumonia in children.In diagnosis,differentiation of fever to explore the origin of disease was emphasized;the tongue picture was inspected to differentiate the nature of disease;the pathogenesis was analysed to differentiate its syndrome.In application of drugs,Ye Tianshi's principle was followed and mild dosage was applied skillfully.Meanwhile,acrid-warm drugs were not avoided,and Radix Glycyrrhizae,Semen Armeniacae Amarum,Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparata,Exocarpium Citri Rubrum,etc.were used with unique experience.In treatment,the therapeutic principles and formula varied with climates and the progress of disease flexibly.In convalescence,regulation of the lung and stomach was paid attention.
