Abstract: | An unusual case of squamous cell carcinoma arising at the ileocutaneous stomal site is reported. The presenting symptoms were peristomal ulceration and bleeding. The patient was treated with wide local excision of the stoma and the peristomal skin, and relocation of the ileostomy. A search of the literature for other similar cases subsequently identified two additional cases that were reported in the literature in 1987 and 2000. |
