从医药卫生人类学的视角加以审视,可以发现“岐黄”二字代表了多种含义,“岐黄”文化所包含的内容,既有相关医籍,又有中医学传承早期的医家,如岐伯、伯高、少师、雷公、容成等。在以往的研究中,少被人关注的是遍布河南省新密市的各种遗迹,如岐伯山、力牧台、风后顶等。“岐黄”文化不仅仅存留在历史中,更体现在当下的活态医药文明中。“岐黄”文化也不局限于中国,而是已经传遍了四海五洲。
