| Abstract: | Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), a DNA molecular marking technology, is one of reliable and powerful approaches in detecting polymorphism loci. This paper presents the RAPD's principle, process, superiorities, shortcoming and its remedied measures. Expansibility of RAPD and its applications in the authentication of traditional Chinese drug (TCD) are also studied. |
