松果体区肿瘤的放射治疗27例临床分析

 自1978年2月～1992年2月共收治松果体肿瘤患者27例。年龄分布9～36岁，其中25岁以下23例（85．2％），男女之比为2：1。有3例经组织学证实，18例采用脑室分流术加术后放疗，9例行单纯放疗。3年、5年生存率分别为66．7％（18／27）和55．6％（15/27），主要死因是局部复发。因为手术治疗本病有较高的并发症和死亡率，虽然大多数肿瘤不能全切，但对放射线敏感。因此，在无法取得组织寻诊断时，可采用脑室分流术和术后放疗。

Radiotherapy for tumors the pineal region──Analysis of 27 cases

From Feb 1978 to Feb 1992,Twenty-seven patients with tumors of the pineal region were analysed. Ages ranged from 9~36 year and 23 cases were less than 25year with 2:1 male predominance. Three cases were proved by histology. 18cases were treated by means of ventricular shunting plus radiotherapy; gcases by radiotherapy alone. The overally 3 and 5 year surriral rates 66.7 % (18/27) and 55.6% (15/27),respectively. The main cause of death was local recurrence. Because the opperative opproach to this site led to high mortality and morbidity rates, the most of this tumor,although they can not be completely exised, are radiosensitive. As a results, ventricular shunting plus postoperative radiotherapy without a tissue diagunosis had had advocted.
