Abstract: | Asthma and allergic rhinitis are two of the most common manifestations of allergy. The conditions have similar aetiologies, and genetic and environmental influences. There is increasing evidence that asthma and allergic rhinitis frequently co-exist, this article discusses the pharmacological management of these conditions, whether they exist independently or simultaneously. Correct use of inhaler devices and nasal sprays is also outlined. |
