Application Progress of Porcelain Laminate Veneer in Aesthetic Restoration of Anterior Teeth

The neat and white anterior teeth have an important influence on the shaping of personal self-confidence and socialimage. Therefore, the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth is of great significance and has become an important branch of thecurrent field of prosthodontics. As a commonly used aesthetic restoration technique for anterior teeth, porcelain laminate veneer hasattracted much attention due to its significant advantages and application value, including its high simulation, good biocompatibility,and fewer complications. Based on this, this paper reviews the application progress ofporcelain laminate veneer in aestheticrestoration of anterior teeth, including its aesthetic effect, restoration technology, indications and other aspects, aiming to providemore comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of porcelain laminate veneerrestoration for prosthodontists and promote the furtherdevelopment of aesthetic restoration technology of anterior teeth.
