| Abstract: | Interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC)have been shown to be the pacemaker cells of the gastrointestinal motility.ICC are essential for generation and regeneration of slow wave and play an important role in the regulation of gastrointestinal smooth muscle.Recent studies have demonstrated that ICC are related to slow-transit constipation. |
