Effect of Yiqi Huayu Bushen decoction combined with anti-obstructive exercise in the treatment of primary osteoporosis

Objective:To investigate the curative effect of Yiqi Huayu Bushen decoction combined with anti-obstructive exercise in the treatment of primary osteoporosis and its effect on bone mineral density(BMD)and osteocalcin(BGP).Methods:150 patients with primary osteoporosis were selected and divided into experimental group(n=50),combined control group(n=50)and control group(n=50)by lottery.The experimental group were given anti-resistance exercise and Yiqi Huayu Bushen decoction.The combined control group were given anti-resistance exercise and alendronate.The control group were given alendronate.All the groups were continuously treated for 3 months.Clinical efficacy,BMD,SF-36,BGP,BALP,β-CTX,VAS and TCM syndrome score were compared.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 96.00%,the total effective rate of the combined control group was 78.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 72.00%,difference statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,BMD and SF-36 scores in the experimental group were higher than those in the combined control group and the control group,difference statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the level of BGP in the experimental group was higher than those in the combined control group and the control group,difference statistically significant(all P<0.05).The levels of BALP andβ-CTX in the experimental group were lower than those in the combined control group and the control group,difference statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,VAS score and TCM syndrome score of the experimental group were lower than those in the combined control group and the control group,difference statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Yiqi Huayu Bushen decoction combined with anti-obstructive exercise has significant effect on the treatment of primary osteoporosis,which can effectively improve BMD and BGP levels.
