自我监控对失败后自尊变化的调节作用

目的为验证失败后自尊是否明显降低,并进一步探讨自我监控对失败后自尊变化是否具有调节作用。方法通过自尊量表前测,并用自我监控量表筛选出78名3类典型的自我监控者,让被试产生失败体验后,接下来再施测自尊量表。结果失败后,被试在自尊量表上的得分显著低于前测(t=7.62,P<0.001);自尊量表上得分变化受自我监控类型的影响(F=3.15,P<0.05)。结论失败后自尊会显著降低;自尊得分的降低程度受自我监控的影响。

The Effect of Self-monitoring on the Self-esteem after Failure

Objective To verify whether the self-esteem will become lower significantly,and further explore whether the self-monitoring will affect the degree of self-esteem’s drop.Method In pre-test,171 subjects were asked to complete self-esteem scale and self-monitoring scale.78 subjects were selected as three typical self-monitors based on the K-means analysis with three subscale of self-monitoring scale.After failure,subjects were asked to complete the self-esteem scale again.Results The score of self-esteem on pre-test was lower than that on the posttest(t=7.62,P<0.001),the degree of self-esteem’s change was affected by self-monitoring after failure(F=3.15,P<0.05).Conclusion The self-esteem will become low after failure,the degree of drop is affected by self-monitoring.
