| Abstract: | Andrographolide, a diterpene, isolated from Andrographis paniculata exhibited a strong choleratic action when administered intraperitoneally (i.p.) to albino rats. This substance induced an increase in bile flow together with a change in the physical properties of the bile secretion. |
