Acute epiglottitis in immunocompromised patients—a report of two cases

Acute epiglottitis is primarily a disease of children, but is more common in adults than is generally realised. It is now described in patients receiving chemotherapy for malignancy and we report two cases occurring in immunocompromised patients, which we believe to be the first reported in the United Kingdom.
