Composition Analysis on Hospital Expense of Lung Cancer Surgery Patients that Before and After Medical Price Adjustment

Objectives To investigate the change of hospitalization cost and structural trend of patients with lung cancer in a tumor hospital in Xinjiang that before and after the medical price adjustment.Methods Patients with lung cancer and took lung cancer surgery in the tumor hospital in Xinjiang from October 1,2016 to April 30(Before the separation of medicine),2017 and April 30,2017 to April 30,2018(After the separation of medicine)were selected as subject.Changes and trends of their hospitalization expense were analyzed through the analysis method of structural variation degree.Results After the separation of medicine,the average hospitalization cost of patients with lung cancer surgery dropped from 85649.47 before the separation of medicine to 73,589.12,and the average daily hospitalization cost was lower than before the separation of medicine(P<0.05).Compared with before the separation of medicine,the cost of western medicine decreased,the composition ratio of the cost of western medicine(18.76%)was lower than before the separation of medicine(24.91%),and the cost of treatment and general medical services increased.According to the results of the analysis method of structural variation degree,the structural change value of western medicine and material costs showed negative changing,the cost of diagnose,general medical service and others showed positive changing.The contribution rate of western medicine cost(42.20%)to the change of hospitalization total cost structure is on the rise,the cost of diagnostic(13.15%)is declining.Conclusions After the medical price adjustment in the tumor hospital in Xinjiang,the cost of western medicine,diagnose and material of lung cancer surgery patients were decreased,and the cost of general medical service,nursing and treatment were increased,which meets the requirement of the national medical reform.
