| Abstract: | The paper presents the promising im-mediate results of the 12 patients suffer-ing from biliary tract diseases treatedwith modified interposition choledocho-jejuno-duodenostomy. To guarantee an une-ventful postoperative course, a thoroughpreoperative preparation of the intestinesand systemic antibiotics are imperative.Two modifications of the operative tech-nique by extending the interpositioned je-junum limb to 50 cm and establishing thejejuno-duodenal anastomosis on the bulbrather than the second position of theduodenum are suggested in this article. |
