| Abstract: | Summary The subcutaneous injection of a rat skin extract inhibits sebum excretion. The mitotic rate in the sebaceous glands is reduced. Therefore, a chalone of the sebaceous gland seems to exist. The regulation of sebum excretion is discussed. |
