摘    要:目的 运用图像融合技术提高CR (computedradiography)影像的信噪比 (signal to noiseratio) ,从而有效地改善图像质量。方法 运用双IP(imageplate)技术获取影像后 ,将源图像在变换域进行图像配准。建立融合图像的数学模型 ,基于此模型获取各图像间加权系数 ,然后对源图像实施不同权重的加权平均得到融合图像。结果 融合图像信噪比比源图像可提高 2 7%左右。结论 双IP技术及图像融合技术相结合可有效改善CR图像质量 ,对于提高诊断的准确性具有很好的应用价值。

Abstract:Objective A dual screen computed radiography (CR) technique has been developed to improve and optimize the image signal to noise ratio (SNR). Methods With this technique, two CR screens were exposed together and separately scanned to form a front and a back image. These two images were superimposed to form an image of improved SNR. A mathematical model had been derived to describe the improvement and optimization of the SNR. Based on this model, the front and back images should be weighted in proportion to their SNR squared to optimize the SNR of the fused image. Imaging experiments had been conducted to verify the theoretical model. Results Experimental results showed that the SNR of the fused image was improved by 27% approximately. Conclusion This technique can result in a significant increase in image quality for the same exposure level. Alternatively this technique could allow reduction in exposure while maintaining the same image quality achievable with the single plate system.
