Abstract:Mitophagy is a kind of selective autophagy that maintains cellular and metabolic homeostasis by removing damaged mitochondria. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a kind of persistent respiratory symptoms and limited airflow of common chronic disease, characterized by its pathogenesis is complex, is still not completely clear. Many studies have shown that multiple signaling pathways regulating mitophagy play an important role in the progression of COPD. This article describes the research status of PINK1/Parkin, FUNDC1, Nix and other related pathways in the regulation of mitophagy in COPD, and summarizes the important research progress in recent years, so as to provide a reasonable theoretical basis for further research on the regulation of mitophagy in COPD related pathways.
Keywords:pulmonary disease  chronic obstructive  mitophagy  PINK1/Parkin  FUNDC1  Nix
