Abstract:Acetylcholinesterase inhibition in blood and subcellular fractions of the medulla oblongata of the rat brain was studied following O-isopropyl methylphosphonofluoridate intoxication. Total acetylcholinesterase inhibition at time of death was found only in microsomal and crude mitochondrial fractions (probably in nerve ending particles).
