乳腺癌p21(WAF1)蛋白的表达及临床病理意义

目的 :研究p2 1(WAF1)蛋白在乳腺癌的表达及临床病理意义。方法 :应用微波修复免疫组化技术S P法检测了 82例乳腺癌及 2 0例乳腺良性病变中p2 1(WAF1)蛋白的表达。结果 :p2 1(WAF1)蛋白表达位于细胞核中 ,部分伴有浆染色 ;p2 1(WAF1)蛋白在乳腺良性病变细胞核基本不表达 ,部分有细胞浆着色 ,乳腺癌中表达率为 58.54%( 4 8/ 82 ) ,其阳性表达与组织高分化、ER阳性、临床分期早有关 ,与淋巴结有否转移、C erbB 2、nm2 3蛋白表达以及是否复发及生存期长短无关。结论 :细胞周期调控因子p2 1(WAF1)蛋白阳性诱导细胞高分化 ,其缺失在乳腺癌发生发展过程起重要作用

The Expression and Significance of p21(WAF1) Protein in Breast Cancer

Objective To study the significance of p21(WAF1)protein expression in breast cancer. Methods The expression of p21(WAF1)protein was analyzed in 82 patients with breast cancer and 20 patients of benign breast diseases by microwave antigen retrieval immunohistochemical staining(S P methods).Results The immunoreaction of p21(WAF1) protein was localized in the nuclei of cells.With the only weak cytoplasmic expression,the expression rate of p21(WAF1) in breast cancer was 58.54%(48/82);it was correlated with well differentiation,positive estrogen recepter expression and early stage;but had no significant correlations with tumour size,lymph node status,C erbB 2,nm 23 protein expression and prognosis of breast cancer.Conclusions The cell cycle regulators p21(WAF1) protein expression is associated with tumour cell differentiation of breast cancer,its loss may be involved in the pathogenesis of breast cancer.
