| Abstract: | Objective To explore the mediating effect of kinesophobia on self-efficacy and exercise adherence in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods By convenience sampling method,435 patients with AMI who underwent PCI in the Department of cardiology of two hospitals in Shanghai from May to August 2021 were investigated with Exercise Fear Scale,Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale and Exercise Adherence Scale.Results The total score of exercise adherence of patients with AMI after PCI was(1.98±1.10),which was at the middle level.Self-efficacy was positively correlated with exercise adherence(r=0.511,P<0.01),and kinesophobia was negatively correlated with self-efficacy and exercise adherence(r=-0.27,-0.501,all P<0.01).The intermediary model showed that self-efficacy had a direct positive predictive effect on exercise adherence,and kinesophobia had a partial mediating effect between self-efficacy and exercise adherence,and the contribution rate of intermediary effect was 25.05%.Conclusions Self-efficacy can indirectly affect exercise adherence through kinesophobia.Doctors and nurses should take systematic measures to reduce patients’fear of exercise and enhance self-efficacy,so as to improve patients’exercise adherence. |
