Abstract: | Objective: To observe clinical efficacy of the Zhenwu decoction. Methods: 59 outpatient admissions with benign prostatic hyperplasia in Haizhu District of Guangzhou Chinese Medicine Hospital Stony Brook courtyard from January 2011 to August, they were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group 30 cases, 29 cases in the control group, two groups patients met the diagnostic criteria for benign prostatic hyperplasia, the observation group was treated with Zhenwu decoction, the control group was treated with oral finasteride tablets, after three months of treatment, improvement of symptoms and clinical efficiency were observed. Results: 17 cases were markedly effective, effective in 12 cases, 1 case ineffective, the total efficiency was 96.7%; in the control group, 8 cases were markedly effective, effective in 11 cases, ineffective in 10 cases, the total efficiency of 65.5%. The efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and P〈0.05, statistically significant difference. Conclusion: The clinical effect of the Zhenwu decoction is significant in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, high efficiency, is an effective method. |
