Abstract:Objective To establish a method for determining berberine hydrochloride in Canhuang Tablet.Methods The high performance liquid chromatography was used for determining the content of berberine hydrochloride.The reversed-phase column was a Luna C18(5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm).Acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution(50∶50,0.4 g sodium dodecylsulfate/100 ml,with a pH value of 4.0 adjusted by phosphoric acid) was filtered through 0.45 μm filtration membrane before administration.The detective wavelength was set at 345 nm with a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,and column temperature at 30℃.Results Berberine hydrochloride was acquired in the range of 60.54~141.26 μg/ml(r=0.9999)with good linear correlation.The average recovery rate and RSD were 101.09% and 2.02% respectively(n=6).Conclusion The method is accurate and reliable in determining berberine hydrochloride in Canhuang Tablets.
