Analysis on Cerebral Function of Patients with Brain Injury during Neuropsychological Test

The cerebral functions in 20 patients with brain injury were examined with the neuropsychological tests. The results showed that in the Rey test the right hemispherical lesions (RHL) differed significantly from the left ones (LHL) in the accuracy of painting reproduction. The accuracy in the patients with the right hemispherical impairment was remarkably less than in those with the left.The frontally traumatic patients often showed the impaired ability to draw up the copying figures, meanwhile the cases of parietal-occipital lesions had a difficulty with the spatial organization of the figures. In WAIS block design test. it was also shown that the LHL patients displayed block game from the left routinely. but 80% of RHL from the right. The remarkable game mistakes usually occurred when the LHL patients made blocks in their right vision field, and the RHL patients in their left.
