During traditional bacterial culture of Bacillus tuberculosis,the growth velocity of bacteria is so slow that it spend 4～8 weeks for the primary culture and still 2～4 weeks′ long for the secondary culture.The long cultural time and difficulty in attaining optimal detection become the main obstacles in the technique of traditional bacterial culture of Bacillus tuberculosis,which lead to delayed etiological diagnosis,long treatment cycle;misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis of TB and increase of drug-resistance bacteria.Lack of etiological evidence,lack of standardized diagnosis and the increased epidemicity become the three rather serious problems now.Only through developing a faster method of bacterial culture of Bacillus tuberculosis can we promote it to the basic medical institutions and solve the three problems that always interfere with us.
