血清中血管内皮生长因子水平与非小细胞肺癌的关系

目的探讨非小细胞肺癌患者手术前、后血清中血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)的动态变化规律及其与非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer.,NSCLC)临床病理生理特征的关系。方法用ELISA法检测120例非小细胞肺癌患者手术前、后血清中VEGF水平和60例健康体检者血清VEGF水平。结果(1)NSCLC患者手术前、后血清中VEGF水平均显著高于正常对照组(P<0.01);(2)NSCLC患者术后第7天血清VEGF水平显著高于术前和术后第1天血清VEGF水平(P<0.01);(3)NSCLC患者手术前、后血清中VEGF水平与肺癌原发肿瘤大小、有无淋巴结转移和TNM分期等有密切关系(P<0.05),与肺癌细胞分化程度、组织学类型、患者性别和年龄等无明显关系(P>0.05)。结论NSCLC患者血清中VEGF水平升高,且与NSCLC的发生、发展和淋巴结转移有密切关系,NSCLC患者血清中VEGF水平可作为动态检测NSCLC患者病情进展、判断预后的参考指标。

Serum levels of vascular endothelial growth factor and the relationship with the non-small cell lung cancer.

Objective To study the relationship between the serum levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)and clinical pathology-physiological characteristic in the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients.Methods The serum levels of VEGF were detected in 120 patients with NSCLC and 60 healthy persons by ELISA method.Results (1)The serum levels of VEGF in NSCLC patients were significantly higher than those healthy people(P<0.01);(2)The serum levels of VEGF in NSCLC patients on the seventh postoperative day were significantly higher than that before operation and on the first postoperative day(P<0.01),(3) The serum levels of VEGF in NSCLC patients were closely related to the size of the primary tumor,lymph node status and TNM stages ,but not to the grade of cell differentiation,type of tumor,age,and sex of the patients(P>0.05). Conclusions Elevation of serum levels of VEGF exists in NSCLC patients and the levels of VEGF play an important role in tumor growth and lymphatic metastasis. The levels of VEGF may be predictors for prognosis.
