Abstract: | A 33-year-old woman developed dense bilateral nasal hemianopias after near-fatal uterine hemorrhage and hysterectomy. Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain showed unique hyperintense lateral geniculate lesions presumed to represent osmotic demyelination from extrapontine myelinolysis. |
