ISL-1在大鼠海马分布的免疫组织化学研究

摘    要:islet-1基因是同源框基因LIM家族的一员。LIM同源框基因在中枢神经系统中的作用引起了人们越来越多的关注。本文作者等采用免疫组织化学ABC法研究了同源框基因islet-1的表达产物(ISL-1)在大鼠海马中的分布,结果表明ISL-1广泛分布于成年大鼠海马各区的神经元内。鉴于同源框基因的表达产物主要为参与基因的表达调控,提示该基因与成年大鼠海马神经元的基因表达调控有着密切的关系。

Abstract:The gene islet-1 is a member of the LIM/homeobox gene family. Recently, researchers paid close attention to the effects of LIM homeobox genes in central nervous system. The distribution of the gene islet-l (ISL-1) in hippocampus of adult rat was studied with its specified antibody immunoh is tochemistry. There sultshowed that ISL-1 was mamly located in neuronal nucleus and widely distributed in every region of hippocampus of adult rat. In view that the homeobox gene product participated chiefly in control of gene expression, it is suggested that the gene islet-1 might play important roles in control of gene expression in neurons of adult rat hippocampus.
