The Current Situation of Expected Grief and its Influencing Factors of the Main Caregivers of Patients with Glioma

Objective To understand the expected grief status of the main caregivers of patients with glioma and analyze its influencing factors.Methods The main caregivers of 162 patients with glioma who were hospitalized in our department were selected as the survey subjects,and the expected sadness scale,coping style scale,and caregiver burden scale were used for cross-sectional survey.Results The main caregiver's expected grief scale for patients with glioma scored(77.85±10.52),and the score rate was 57.67%.The linear regression analysis showed that the age of the caregiver,whether the caregiver was a spouse,coping style and burden of care were the main factor affecting the level of expected sadness(P<0.05).Conclusion The expected grief of the main caregivers of patients with glioma is at a moderate level.Medical staff should pay attention to negative psychology and caregivers with heavier burdens,and provide effective intervention measures to reduce their expected grief.
