| Abstract: | A storiform neurofibroma on the back of a 23-year-old male is reported. The tumor grew slowly and continuously and with no sign of malignancy. The tumor was completely excised with no sign of recurrence in over one and one-half years of follow-up. The characteristic mat-like structure and the presence of melanin in the cytoplasm of the tumor cells suggest that the tumor is of the melanotic type. |
